#StandForWolves Campaign Needs Your Voice

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” ~ Thornton Wilder

Those who stand for wolves are, indeed, ‘conscious of our treasures.’ When we act as one to preserve what we value, our collective ‘consciousness’ can make a difference.

If you already sent in a comment, thank you! Please urge your family and friends to do so, too?  If you are considering sending in a comment and/or attending one of 3 public hearings, please follow the directions below:

  1. PARTICIPATE in America’s Wolves Need Our Action Campaign – tell USFWS that wolves in the 48 states are not fully recovered and need federal protection.

  2. JOIN the “I Am Essential” movement and tell USFWS that Mexican wolves are essential to ecosystem health and more releases are needed to ensure their recovery.

  3. ATTEND a public hearing and submit your comment in person:

  • Oct. 2nd – Clarion Inn, Martinique Ball Room, 1401 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA 95815; (916) 922-8041.

  • Oct. 4th – Embassy Suites, Sandia Room, 1000 Woodward Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102; (505) 245-7100. This public hearing will be the ONLY opportunity to comment about the proposed revision to the nonessential experimental population of the Mexican wolf.
