M1197 - Luis.-ArizonaMexican wolf M1197, Luis (also called Louie), was born in 2010 at the Endangered Wolf Center in Eureka, Missouri. He and 3 brothers moved to the Albuquerque Biological Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2012, where they remained together for several years.Luis moved to Southwest Wildlife in December 2018 and was paired with female Mexican gray wolf F1034 Penny. Meet Jack M1593 -ArizonaMexican wolf Jack, M1593, joined our wild family in July of 2019. Jack was born at the California Wolf Center in Julian, California in 2017. When he was ready to leave his family unit, he was transferred to Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in Divide, Colorado, and shortly after that arrived at Southwest Wildlife.
